Another video interview: the Simpsons game Homer level preview

After Electronic Artsbig revelation of the new Simpsons game (still on working title) in EA’s Summer Preview 2007, the new title has got many platformer and Simpsons fans charged up for what seems to be the best game in the franchise ever. Next up is a video by Advanced Media Network, which dives a little further into the innards of gameplay.

While the early graphics are pretty standard-fare for a game based on a cartoon, the entire depth of the world, as mentioned in brief by game producer Scott Amos, is amazing. You’ll notice that the entire world becomes reminiscent of the artwork of the series as Bart makes his way up the Eiffel Tower.

The level previewed in the walkthrough video is one of the early episodes of the game, called “Around the World in 80 Bites.” Like every episode in the game, players get to play with two characters who are paired up to help the player traverse through the level. This level sports father and son helping each other out to win the Springfield Eating Contest.
