Soltrio Solitaire for a not-so-lonely XBLA Wednesday

Hey, I didn't know you could play two-player Spider Solitaire! - Image 1Define irony: a multiplayer solitaire game.

That’s what’s happening this Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday, when Silver Creek Entertainment’s Soltrio Solitaire hits Marketplace for 800 MS Points. Okay, granted, a pack of cards is way cheaper. Still, no pack of cards can be as ironic as this game. Meaning, online multiplayer. In solitaire.

Actually eighteen solitaire games. 12 Achievements, 200 Gamerscore points, and two-player multiplayer via system link or Xbox Live. Competitive solitaire (race to finish your game first) or cooperative solitaire (work together to get the highest score possible with your decks).

Admittedly, coming in the wake of Boom Boom, Castlevania, Worms, and Double Dragon – released during the past Wednesdays these past few months – this one might feel quite underwhelming. Best for those who feel they need some quiet (emphasis on quiet) “me” time with their Xbox 360, multiplayer modes notwithstanding.

Still, no pack of cards come with Xbox Live multiplayer.
