C&C3’s 1.05 Patch Notes, plus ladder matches and cheat policies

We recently found out that APOC of Electronic Arts‘ Command and Conquer 3 boards posted the extensive list (to-date) of changes that’ll be made in patch 1.05 for Command and Conquer 3. According to APOC, this is basically the full list of additions and changes visible to most players, with many technical fixes omitted for the time being, seeing as you probably didn’t want to know about those right now.

In addition to the patch notes we’ll be including below, APOC notes two things that should be of note to any C&C3 player. First is the fine tuning and implementation of their anti-cheating policies. According to APOC,

We are working on a strict disconnection and cheat policy that we plan to coincide with the release of patch 1.05. We will not rest on our laurels and let these people ruin the competitive aspect of the game. Please also understand that this battle is end- less and there cannot be an expectation to 100% rid of cheaters and disconnects…. We will crackdown and do whatever it takes to combat this in order to make our ladder and your experience as great as possible.

More importantly for the competitive folks out there, they’re planning to make a ladder season available to players after the release of Patch 1.05. As it stands, expect tournaments and prizes for the best of the best.
