It sucks to be you: lost Halo 3 beta codes addressed
What?! This comes as an unfortunate surprise. As Major Nelson reports, there’s actually a couple of people who still haven’t received the beta codes they should have won via the Halo 3 “Three Ways to Play” contest. Yeah, sucks to be them, doesn’t it?
We know thousands of people have received their codes without any hitch – some people have actually even said that they’ve received the code twice or thrice in their email inboxes already. But why are there other people still complaining about not getting their codes? Knight in shining armor that he is, the Major is on to the problem, as always:
Some folks were notified they won, but never got their code (which sucks). I am being told that later this morning (PT) another mail will go out toÂ… so keep your eyes on your inbox (and Junk Mail folder just in case) and you should be all set. If you are expecting a code, and don’t get one by the end of the day, please call your local Xbox support line and they are prepared to assist.
Of course, “later this morning” actually already went by, and we’re wondering if you guys got the email yet. Time to check your inboxes, folks. And keep those fingers crossed.
