Rumor: MGS4 on the Xbox 360 confirmed?
Not too long ago, the rumor was hot on Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots porting over to the Xbox 360. New word has surfaced, and a poster from Xbox.com forum claims that Swedish gaming mag “Super Play” confirmed Snake’s defection.
The translation goes: “Fortunately, Konami isn’t completely blind to the fact that more gamers deserve to play this epic title, and it is now confirmed that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for the Xbox 360 will launch a year later in November 2008.”
Just like Substance and Subsistence, the 360 version is supposed to have bonus material. The magazine continues saying “It will come with new content additions including VR missions and other bonus gameplay like Snake Tales, which lets you go on more objective-based missions – some quite lengthy.”
If this is true, there will be more incentive to get MGS4 on the 360. Potentially, it could dig the PS3’s grave after already losing its DMC4 exclusive. Let’s just hope to hear more from the man Kojima himself.
