DS Lite First Impressions
An interesting article about the DS Lite just published on IGN goes over the most important features of this cute little handheld. Although Nintendo told them that the test console is just a “prototype” version, they believe it is identical to the same DS Lite currently sold out everywhere in Japan.
Some of the new additions include a brighter screen, more comfortable controls, and a redesigned stylus. One especially clever adjustment involves the raising of the lower screen. Apparently, this allows for two screens to collapse onto each other, making it impossible for small objects like coins to scratch up your screen when you put it away.
While most of us are still waiting for retailers to stock up on these, in the mean time we can only read about the DS Lite in awe.
