Exploring Middle Earth in LOTRO Shadows of Angmar: Woodhall
For those of us busily trekking the digital world of Middle Earth in Codemasters‘ Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, here’s a destination you might want to include in your itenerary: the tranquil hobbit-village of Woodhall. This village is an out-of-the-way place where one can catch their breath from all the combat, as well as get an earful of gossip.
While there’s nothing quite remarkable about Woodhall, it’s a bit out of the way so visitors are rare – folks born with the itch to explore might want to check out the wooded hills Woodhall rests beneath. Overlooking the quaint hobbit village is a forest of trees which seem to form some sort of hall. Following this natural hallway would lead you to a vast clearing, where elves are rumored to be seen traipsing around.
If one remembers his Tolkien folklore, this particular clearing is where the Elf-company of Gildor took Frodo Baggins and his companions after escaping the Black Rider that had been stalking them in the Fellowship of the Ring. What say you, then, adventures? Doesn’t that merit the place a look?
