Video: Project Sylpheed intro trailer looks good, sounds great

Xbox 360 owners recently had the chance to demo the upcoming space dogfight spectacle that is Project Sylpheed through the Xbox Live Marketplace. We must say that Square Enix and Microsoft Game Studios are pulling this off pretty well and this trailer ups the ante some more. Watch:

Or should have we said listen? The voice acting was very nice indeed, and the script wasn’t too shabby either. It looks like we’re not only going to get a blast-a-thon, we might actually get an involving plot in the process.

The story sets you in a 27th century setting where humanity is in the process of seeking out and taking over new worlds conquistador-style. In the process, our noble race has rediscovered the joys of warfare and violence has erupted once more among our factions. As usual, your mission is to end the bloodshed by destroying the bad guys. It’s the only way, really.
