Famitsu Weekly Most Wanted: Itagaki DS and Halo 3 return
Taking Famitsu’s Weekly Most Wanted List at face value, we can see that gamers from Japan are difficult to woo. Trusty Bell ended at the 19th spot last week, but sales figures show that this unique RPG for Xbox 360 skyrocketed to being the 2nd most selling game in Media Create’s weekly software sales list.
With that out of the way, and Last Remnant dropping from the last spot, Itagaki Street DS and Halo 3 have returned to take 19th and 20th spots respectively. After Trusty Bell experienced a smashing success, and Lost Odyssey not giving up its place, it won’t be surprising to see more Japanese gamers embracing the box.
Top titles are staying strong as usual. The biggest RPG franchises that dominate Japan – Dragon Quest IX and Final Fantasy XII under Square Enix‘ belt are safe at 1st and 2nd place, with DQ IX having almost a thousand vote lead against 3rd placer Biohazard 5.
Can’t wait? Here’s the list:
