PlayStation Premiere: Tekken 6 to go online
Finally, it’s confirmed that PlayStation 3 fans will get another dose of online next-gen fighting with the announcement Namco Bandai made during the PlayStation Premiere in Tokyo: Tekken 6 will be going online.
Similar to Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online, Tekken 6‘s online feature will be added as one of the many gameplay modes available for the home version. The arcade version isn’t out yet, however, as the arcade version of Tekken 6 is scheduled to come out later this year, while the home version to follow less than a year after that.
It’s good that fighting games are now given the online-capability function, such as Virtua Fighter 5 for the Xbox 360. Now, gamers can brag or settle arguments not only with someone beside them, but also in the comfort of their own rooms, a good distance away from their opponents.
