…Sony is going to be making a major announcement to the world.

Will it be that everything is going according to their plans for world domination, and the PS3 will in fact launch in Spring? Or is it what seems to be the most likely scenario brewing in recent days, that the PS3 launch will in fact be delayed, possibly by a season or two? Perhaps Sony will keep mum as they have been doing so far, and let us percolate for just a little longer, letting our imaginations run wild. Either way, any announcement from Sony at this point is like the rich man feeding his crumbs to the beggars clamoring at his table.

Please sir, may I have some more!

My money, and it seems quite a few others’, is on Sony making a PS3 announcement, especially with Game Developers’ Conference and the end of the financial year nigh on the horizon. Chances are it will be to say that, yes, the console will be delayed, especially with all the naysayers this week and last quoting a Spring launch as “impossible”, and discovering manufacturers were beginning production in June or July. However, you can never truly know.
