Dog-shaped pedometer for Wii gamers
Can’t wait for Wii Fit? There’s another Wii fitness peripheral out in the market, though it’s not an officially-sanctioned product from Nintendo Company Ltd. Check out the Wii Gage (sounds like Wii and Nokia’s N-Gage lovechild), a curiously dog-shaped pedometer that tracks your movements on your way to Wii Fitness.
The Wii Gage tracks the number of movements made while playing a Wii game, and displays total exercise time in the bone-shaped pedometer’s LCD screen. The Gauge [sic] promises to use low power consumption, and is powered by a 1.5 AG13 battery.
We really don’t know why the Wii Gage model in the packaging has to be a gorilla, but it looks like a device nifty enough to be added to the Wii’s small roster of peripherals.
