Poison frontman Michaels to grace Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
It’s official: legendary frontman Bret Michaels of rock super group Poison will grace Activision‘s upcoming game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (slated for the Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox 360, and the Sony PlayStation 3). Michaels says he’s honored and sees a lot of promise in the title.
“When Activision asked me to do this, I was honored…are you kidding me? This game totally rocks!” exclaims an excited Michaels. “I gave them my signature moves, basically did my thing and they captured it. It was really cool.”
For the project, Michaels was asked to act like he was performing in a real big concert and he was motion-captured while he showed everyone the infamous swagger he’s known for. As a result, players can enjoy shredding with a realistic replica of the rock star like they become part of the same band.
Michaels is also recognized for his part in “Rock of Love” and another unorthodox video with Pamela Anderson which we really can’t talk about. He’s got good company in Guitar Hero III as Velvet Revolver, Pearl Jam, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are also in the mix. This bad boy of a game is still some time off the shelves but we’ve got a few new screens to keep you company while you wait.
