The Bourne Conspiracy gameplay trailer
When the High Moon team, developers of the upcoming game Robert Ludlum’s The Bourne Conspiracy, said that their project won’t be a typical movie game, they meant it. The mediocrity usually associated with movie-tied games isn’t showing in this video as the graphics and action look off the hook. Watch this:
With a third-person view reminiscent of Resident Evil 4, players will assume the role of Jason Bourne in a cat-and-mouse style espionage thriller. Audio seems pretty good too, as the cacophony of speaker-shuddering explosions and radio transmissions set the right atmosphere for the mood that the game wants to project.
This prospect isn’t due out until the summer of next year, but from what we’re seeing now, it could turn out to be pretty darn good. A select few have proven that movie games don’t have to be bad, and we certainly hope The Bourne Conspiracy joins that list. This one’s headed for the Sony PlayStation 3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360.
