Newest GP2X F-200 to emulate DS games soon?
If you haven’t heard of the handheld gaming platform called the GP2X, we’ll tell you a bit about it. The GP2X is a Linux-based machine that allows you to play games with hardware quality coming close to the Nintendo DS. It recently released a new version called the F-200 and it has a touch-screen function much like its popular counterpart.
There are very few commercial developers for this gadget but it does have a strong backing from a homebrew community that creates emulators and small games frequently. With the new touch screen, can a DS emulator finally be created?
This is something certainly worth monitoring as it could be big in the alternative gaming scene. We’ll keep you posted for more updates so keep it right here.
