The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass new gameplay video

Nintendo DS owners awaiting the release of The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass still have to wait a month before they get their hands on Link’s new adventure. But to keep you entertained before D-day, Nintendo released this new gameplay video of The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

As you can see, there’s Link being his usual self, running around and exploring the terrain. The story of Phantom Hourglass revolves around Tetra and Link’s exploration of a mysterious ghost ship. Tetra is “abducted” by the mysterious vessel while Link drifts off to a strange island where he must find clues on how to save his friend.

The touchscreen, of course, will be in full play as you help Link in his adventure, dwelling in dungeons and solving puzzles. The stylus will control both classic and new items which will be very useful when dealing with enemies. The graphics of The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass are done in cute cel-shaded fashion, and the sounds remain true to the Zelda franchise to give us all that nostalgic ambiance. We’ll be waiting eagerly for this one.
