The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass video shows the “rub”
This new gameplay trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass shows off more of Link’s moves. Here we see the “rub” function where players rub the screen with the stylus to get Link’s feet get into gear. The move allows Link to do a whirlwind move.
The first time the move is seen, Link uses it to attack some enemies while second time he uses it to escape the grip of a giant claw. It’s just a teaser but we should expect more demonstrations of Link’s fast moves that take advantage of the Nintendo DS’ stylus before The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is released on October 1 in the U.S. and on October 19 for Europe.
