Atari800 PSP v2.0.3.2
Homebrew emulator master craftsman uberjack just updated one of his newer emulators: Atari800 PSP. For those who weren’t able to catch the prior release, Atari800 PSP can pretty much stand in for Zx-81’s Atari emulator. This baby from uberjack can emulate games from Atari 800, 800XL, 130XE, and 5200 on the PSP. Sweet, huh? That’s your dad’s entire collection of video games right there!
While the very first release of this emulator was released around half a month ago, this version update covers some minor bug fixes and improvements. Some of the fixes also focus on controller config issues, one of which was actually pointed out by a user. See? It pays to give the homebrew developer your feedback!
Atari800 PSP v2.0.3.2 now includes the following updates, additions, and fixes, as stated in the changelog:
- Fixed mislabeled ‘Joystick Right’ control (thanks Robert)
- Updated GUI – menu animations
- Fixed various bugs dealing with controller configuration
- Improved state saving/loading screen
As always, you can glean more information from the readme included. Unlike most other readme files though, the one included in the archived download is an html file viewable in a browser.
