SNK adds Fatal Fury, World Heroes, Art of Fighting to VC

SNK Playmore USA has just announced that it will be releasing Fatal Fury, World Heroes and Art of Fighting on the U.S. Wii Virtual Console. Each game is expected to cost about 900 Wii points.

All three titles are fighting games arcade veterans will definitely recognize. The games are pioneers in its own right with each one introducing something new to the genre. The original Fatal Fury, for example, had two planes to fight on making it easier to dodge attacks while Art of Fighting’s spirit gauge gave birth to the concept of special attacks’ level.

Interestingly enough, the company said that this is just the first wave of the numerous classics they’re planning to release. The press release stated that “more titles will follow over the coming months.”
