PS3 Predicted To Lead Next Gen Console War
Well look at that, another no-brainer! (Something would have to get royally mucked up for Sony to lose its lead folks). Market research company “In-Stat” has released details on their report about the coming next generation console war between Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.
The report, which is titled “Video Game Consoles 2006: Microsoft Launches Next Generation, Sony Dominates Current Generation” outlines how Sony, despite Microsoft’s head start will capture a 50.2% of the market with its PlayStation 3, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 will follow with a 28.6% share, and Nintendo’s Revolution with a 21.2% share. All this predicted by 2010. Yes, shocking results!
Sony fanboys can sleep safe in their beds tonight knowing the Xbox 360 will pose no threat, while Nintendophiles can just keep humming and not listening as the war rages in the background. Xbots have the inglorious position of once again being caught in the middle playing second fiddle. At least if In-Stat is to be trusted.
