Team M33 releases statement on custom firmware development, next cfw release
Team M33 has posted a little something on their website stating their views about the current state of custom firmware development. In a nutshell, it says that those waiting for the newest custom firmware will have to wait a little longer for its release.
This delay is apparently due to the OE leak, which gave everyone – including Sony – a chance to look at how the OE firmwares worked. According to Team M33, “Sony saw this and made some interesting changes in some modules (mainly loadcore), plus the change of some nids that are used to the development of M33 Custom Firmware.”
It doesn’t mean Team M33 will be pulling the plug on their custom firmware development efforts. The next release will just take a little longer, as the changes “won’t probably last too long and won’t be an important problem.” So just hang tight and be patient guys.
You can read the full statement by hitting the Read link below. It doesn’t matter if you’re a developer (Team M33 also discusses their stand on add-ons that use M33 custom firmware) or if you’re just waiting for a new custom firmware. We suggest you check it out.
