Now that we’ve seen some bits of Tecmo‘s Ninja Gaiden 2 for Microsoft‘s Xbox 360, it’s difficult not to get excited with what Tomonobu Itagaki claims to be “the best action game in the world.” Developer Team Ninja has taken a big leap, which is made obvious when Ninja Gaiden Sigma on the Sony PS3 is compared to recently revealed footage of its sequel. Fortunately, someone had the time to put action-packed scenes from both titles together.
At first glance, your eyes will already notice the difference. Ninja Gaiden 2 offers not only more detailed environments but also superb lighting. Bodies get mutilated, locations are more realistic, Ryu’s ninja suit is shinier – need we say more?
