More details about Infinite Undiscovery
A few more details about Tri-Ace‘s Infinite Undiscovery have come to light courtesy of Microsoft‘s pre-Tokyo Game Show conference. The said conference featured the first official trailer for the game.
The main protagonist, Capel, has a semi-El Mariachi vibe going on: he’s a a flute player and healer who looks just like the legendary hero Sigmunt. A case of mistaken identity ends up in Capel being thrown in jail by the Sealed Army. The heroine, Aya, who is a member of the Resistance Army, tries to rescue him without knowing that Capel isn’t really the legendary hero.
The battles in Infinite Undiscovery will reportedly be in real time. Encountering enemies will trigger the seamless transition between exploration and the battle screen. The game will be showcased at the Square Enix booth during TGS 2007. Keep checking back here for more updates.
