TGS 2007: Silent Hill Origins trailer

Silent Hill franchise fans with Sony PSPs better brace themselves because we’ve got a big one incoming! Konami Digital has fielded in the Tokyo Game Show 2007 trailer of Silent Hill Origins and it looks very, very good.

As you can see, the trailer starts off with some of the best-looking pre-rendered sequences we’ve seen for the PSP in quite a while. Silent Hill Origins protagonist Travis Grady is seen here driving his truck through the infamous town. He sees an apparition of what seems to be Alessa and hits the brakes. Other previews are then depicted using a PSP-view scheme. The dark, gritty background song helps establish the mood that this iteration of the famed survival horror series aims to project.

It won’t take long before Silent Hill Origins locks its chilly grip on PSP owners everywhere. Early November marks the launch date of this anticipated title, making for a nice, extended Halloween for those who dare play it.
