TGS 2007: Guilty Gear 2 Overture overload
If you’re not a fan and thought Arc System Works has been milking Guilty Gear too much by releasing different versions with not much substantial improvements, then Guilty Gear 2 Overture may catch your attention. As Japan‘s favorite fighting game series enters the next-gen scene, it also transforms into an action game for Xbox 360. Take a peek by checking out the trailer shown at Tokyo Game Show 2007.
Guilty Gear and 3D in one sentence would’ve sounded ridiculous a couple of years ago, but it happened. Sol Badguy will take up arms once more, but not in glorious 2D.
In this video, you’ll see him hacking and slashing along with newcomers Sin, Izuna, Dr. Paradigm, and Valentine. Some of the game’s features are also introduced, like hectic melee action and split screen mayhem.
Are you ready? Followers of Guilty Gear would cringe at the thought of the series breaking from its roots, but many would feel guilty pleasure after watching the video below. So, without further ado, let’s rock!
