Assassin’s Creed: Templar trailer
Among the various targets that Altair’s going to be hunting down in Assassin’s Creed (Xbox 360, PS3, PC), one of the most famous would have to be the Knights Templar. Endorsed by the Church in 1129 (the game takes place in 1191), this militant order was among the foremost defenders of the pilgrims travelling to the Holy Land at the time, and boasted to be among of the more disciplined soldiers for Crusades.
Considering just how easily Altair offs one of them during this trailer, though, we’ll have to reconsider just how capable they are (or how lethal Altair is). This latest video teaser from Ubisoft will give us a glimpse of just what sort of reputation The Flying One has developed among his enemies, and just what sort of schemes the Templar have for the Holy Land.
