Tabula Rasa Screenshot of the Week: The Long Haul
It’s time once more to get our weekly dose of Tabula Rasa eye candy with this week’s Screenshot of the Week, courtesy of the guys over at NCsoft. Let’s see what they’re cooking up with the upcoming MMORPG that pits us against the overpowering forces of the Bane.
This week’s screenshot is titled The Long Haul – which reads a lot better than “The Long Hall”, even if the image does show a lone commando jogging into a long… hall. But that’s not just any hall, it’s one of the long winding corridors inside the Warden Bot Facility.
Note the awesome-looking weapon the commando is lugging around – that’s a heavy-duty EMP launcher right there, designed to take out even the biggest bane creation in Tabula Rasa, so long as they’re mechanical.
The graphics are definitely looking sweeter and sweeter with every screenshot update, and the draw distance looks superb as we can almost make out the far end of the hall itself. The environments look scary enough, with the alien-robot theme going on as well as the greenish glow all around.
Here’s hoping that the commando was able to use that EMP launcher before whatever mechanical monstrosity he was gunning for got him. Updates as we get them!
