Bungie starts work on new project
If you think the Bungie Studios people are off on some vacation island right now enjoying the fruits of their three-year effort culminating with Halo 3‘s release for the Microsoft Xbox 360, you couldn’t be more wrong. They’re back in the studios and fanning the game-making forge once more.
While some of us are still busy collecting skulls in the single player campaign of Halo 3, MSXbox has reported that Bungie is indeed on the roadmap to another big project hot of the heels of the biggest game release in history. Some are betting on Halo The Movie, while others are thinking of a Halo prequel trilogy a la Star Wars. Of course this is all mere speculation as we don’t know if this could be an entirely different project altogether.
Whatever it is they’re working on, we’ll be monitoring it closely from here on out. Some may be disappointed that Halo 3 isn’t the “last” one in the franchise, but come on now, you didn’t really believe that, did you?
