We’re getting right into the thick of things as we head into the holiday season, and the good times just keep rolling with big releases every week. Last week we saw The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass lead the launch charge, but this week’s mood is a bit different as the Sony PlayStation Portable and the PC are piling up some good titles.

We’ll be seeing that Japanese prospect of a game as Folklore debuts on the Sony PlayStation 3, while the PSP also has some magic to share with Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. Valve Software is offering up The Orange Box, while EA Sports and Sony are introducing FIFA 08 and NBA 08 respectively. There’s a lot more in store so dig in!

Agatha Christie: Evil Under the Sun.
Take on the role of respected detective Hercule Pairot once more as he investigates how a millionaire winds up with a fake diamond in his hands. You’ll be in an exclusive island resort for society’s upper echelon looking for clues and breaking down alibis to determine the identity of the wolves among the sheep.

Arctic Tale. You think it’s tough to be a man with a wife who just gave birth? Think again. This game lets you know how it is to be a polar bear who has a wife who just delivered a cub and is weak from the labor. As a proud new dad, you’ll have to perform the duties of a mom and a dad all at once. If your young one dies, your game is over so step it up, daddy bear!

Bleach: Shattered Blade. The popular anime and manga series gets another game, this time on the Nintendo Wii game console. Featuring 82 characters that fans will immediately recognize, the game will have users hacking and stabbing to their hearts’ delight with the Wiimote.
