Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Beta closes, to re-open in December

If you’ve been enjoying the Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Beta, you should have received a letter from the guys over from EA Mythic that yes, the beta itself is coming to a close. Of course, while this means that we’ll all have to say goodbye to our characters, this also means that the bugs, glitches, and whatnot that were found in the beta will now be fixed, along with a couple of new improvements as soon as the next beta phase opens. Sweet!

This little bit of info comes from James Nichols, through a news update of the game’s official website. In his post, he reports that the team is quite proud to have reached the particular point of development where Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning‘s beta itself is going smoothly, and the community active in pointing out bugs and suggesting improvements. He also gives a list of what’s to expect from the team, as quoted below:

  • Improve open field skirmishes and battlefield objectives with major enhancements.
  • Provide players with even more options to customize their character both through their abilities and visual appearance.
  • Continue to enhance Public Quests and the PQ System.
  • Prepare the elves for their release into the world!

A very reassuring update from James, indeed. And with a ton of new content waiting for old and new beta testers alike (systems, art, the works), the new beta phase that opens in early December will certainly be something to look forward to.
