Flagship Studios details Hellgate: London in-game goodies
Flagship Studios, developers of the Hellgate London MMORPG”>Kaiser Hwang, Community Manager of Flagship Studios, recently revealed the various Hellgate: London in-game goodies that would be made available to the gaming public upon the game’s launch on October 31, 2007. Hwang cautioned, however, that some of them may or may not be immediately available upon launch review time, depending on how things go. He also indicated that certain treats will only be available to subscribers.
Goodies for Hellgate: London subscribers include: two extra (harder) difficulty levels, twenty-one extra character slots, long-term quests (called Achievements), a larger character storage locker and a guild creation option. Mr. Hwang made special note of the All Hallows’ Eve themed events that would last from October 31 up to November 4. Rewards such as special quests, candies, helms and even cyborg pets round out the possible unlockable rewards.
Flagship Studios hasn’t forgotten about the non-subscribing players, though. Kaiser Hwang mentioned that all Hellgate: London players will be able to experience new features that include loads of additional back-story, tuned NPC vocal responses, larger Nightmare Mode levels and the option of a free-for-all PvP mode outside of Underground hubs.
In spite of the flak that Flagship Studios has received for the purportedly mediocre beta version of Hellgate: London, the developers remain confident that the game will live up to players’ expectations.
