New Nintendo Revolution Images from GDC 2006
First, the name, now, the look.
Revolution Report’s Aaron Canaday can’t help but say: “shockingly small” and “very sleek and sexy”. The unit appears to be thicker than versions displayed at E3 2005 and Tokyo Game Show 2005. This is also the first time the backside of the console is shown, complete with A/V Out, Power, and two USB ports. The mysterious port that was seen in product drawings (see below) filed by Nintendo with the office of the European Union is nowhere to be found.
More than changes in the design, the absence of the word “Revolution” in the logo (or any part of the unit) just fuels up speculations that a new name is in place. That remains to be seen. Until we get the official word, just check out the photos.
