Pioneer HTP-XGS1 5.1 surround for Xbox 360
Pioneer is coming out with a 5.1 surround sound system designed specifically for the Xbox 360, which is clearly visible by the color scheme it uses. This setup will pump out a total of 600 watts, and let’s just say that’ll be more than adequate unless you’re trying to make yourself go deaf. Although no official price has been announced, estimates are saying that it will be in the £200 – £250 price range, which translates to a steep $349-$440 USD. The HTP-XGS1 will use Multi Channel Acoustic Calibration – a feature that automatically adjusts the sound coming out of the speakers to give you the best listening experience based on your room’s layout. This would definitely be a nice piece of hardware that would sound great when you pump up the volume, but having a sound system worth more than the 360 itself seems a little outrageous.
