Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga – why it can’t be on the PSP, DS details
So Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is appearing on all the major consoles – even the DS – but a PSP version is conspicuously absent. What happened you ask? Nothing major: TT Games just doesn’t have the resources for it.
Head over to the full article for more details on the game’s DS version straight from Jonathan Smith himself, head of TT Games. He talks about the games features and other things you can look forward to.
In a recent interview with Jonathan Smith – head of TT Games – he explains why Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga can’t be on the PSP and gives us some more details about the game’s DS version.
According to Smith, the reason why the game can’t appear on the PSP is a simple one, and quote:
We really love Lego Star Wars II on PSP, but we simply have limited available resources, and couldn’t fit a PSP version of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga into our plans.
But that hitch aside, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga will appear on every other major console (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS). Despite the smaller space compared to its bigger cousins, the Nintendo DS will still have levels from all six films.
The DS version will have 30 levels “with all the characters you’d expect.” The levels will be modeled after the ones in the consoles but was designed specifically for the DS gameplay-wise. It will even have two-player co-op just like all the other consoles.
