Hidden features in PS3 firmware 2.0
Austrian website Starseven has uncovered a few more features of the recently-released PlayStation 3 firmware 2.0 that didn’t quite get included in the official Sony press releases. These features include a new Video Chat, faster loading times for the Internet Browser and PlayStation Store and the ability to sort demos, PSOne titles and downloaded games in folders. – Trailers can be streamed during download from the PlayStation Store
– Faster loading times for the Internet Browser and PlayStation Store
– Demos, PS1 games and downloaded games can be sorted in folders
– A new Video-Chat
There’s also supposedly a new Flash player update included in firmware 2.0, but reports from those who updated indicate that it may not be included after all. Starseven also lists an untested support feature for Canon printers. Check back here for more updates.
