Here are some screenshots for the PlayStation 3 version of upcoming RPG The Last Remnant. The game is expected to become available in major markets during Spring 2008. It is being developed and will be published by Square Enix and is also expected to come out on Xbox 360.

Aside from being eye-candy, The Last Remnant is also offering something new to the table in the form of the battle system defined by video game director Hiroshi Takai as a “turn-burst, command-based system using various symbols for encounters”. Not to mention the game utilizes Unreal Engine 3.
