Homebrew developer MrPeanut has released a new version of Duke Nukem 3D for PSP, bumping it up to build 97. This particular creation was based from JonoF Duke 3D which was created by Johnathan Fowler.
The Duke Nukem franchise is one of the more sought after games out there, even today, This is not to mention that the series has continued to elude the fantasies of gamers with 3D Realms taking its sweet time confirming Duke Nukem Forever.
Anyway, Duke Nukem 3D for PSP build 97 only carries a few changes compared to the latest build. MrPeanut explains:
The only thing that was changed was disabling FMV so the game won’t crash during those points.
I haven’t yet gotten to the point to work on the FMV code. I’m more or less concerned with the sound pitch problem (fixed) and adding custom map support (working on).
Take note that you will be needing the shareware version or even the retail copy of the DUKE3D.GRP data file for this homebrew to work. Once you’ve obtained that file, all you have to do is put it in the Duke3D folder included in the homebrew archive.
