Raving Rabbids invade Lyon GDC

Organizers of the Lyon Game Developers Conference (Lyon GDC) have announced that its second keynote will be focusing on how social fun and absurd humor can be translated into a successful video game franchise. As an example, the screaming and raving Rabbids will be on center stage.
Nicolas Normandon, Creative Director for Ubisoft, and Loïc Gounon, Ubisoft’s International Product Manager on the Rayman Raving Rabbids project will be on hand to give attendees a look at how humor and creative work – and a whole lot of insane alien bunnies – helped establish the Raving Rabbids franchise.
If you’re anywhere near the Lyon GDC and want to find out how the franchise came about, drop by the Centre de Congrès in Lyon on Tuesday, December 4. Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli will also be giving a keynote on the making of Crytek’s next-gen FPS, Crysis. The Lyon GDC will take place on December 3 and December 4.
