Media Create‘s numbers are in for the week ending November 25, and Square Enix‘ Dragon Quest IV remake for the Nintendo DS took first place in the top 30 software sales with stellar marks. Knowing how Japan loves ’em classic role-playing games and 3D remakes to the handheld, it’s not exactly surprising how 597,000 copies went off shelves soon after launch.

Other fresh titles enter the top 10, including Konami‘s World Soccer Winning Eleven 2008 (Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360), Nintendo’s Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games on the Nintendo Wii, and another entry by Square Enix – the much awaited expansion Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess (Xbox 360, PC).
