MS Points Card package divulges Video Marketplace European details

A recently purchased Microsoft Points Card package in Europe has somewhat confirmed that Microsoft will soon be launching the Xbox Live Video Marketplace but only in certain parts of the region.

For some time now, fans have been asking why this specific service has not yet reached Europe. Despite the lack of concrete explanation, Microsoft has always maintained that the video service will go live within 2007. More details after the jump!

For some time now, fans have been asking why this specific service has not yet reached Europe. Despite the lack of concrete explanation, Microsoft has always maintained that the video service will go live within 2007.

According to the above mentioned package, the Xbox Live Video Marketplace service will only be available in countries UK, Ireland, France, and Germany. Again, a sufficient explanation for the limited launch wasn’t provided.

The Dashboard Fall update is expected to become available in a matter of days, on December 4 to be exact. We expect to get more details by then.
