Golf game fanatics, now’s the time to rejoice: Sony Computer Entertainment and Clap Hanz‘s Hot Shots Golf 5 (known in Japan as Minna no Golf 5) will now be released in North America. Estimated release date and more gameplay details in the full article!
Sony Computer Entertainment and Clap Hanz‘s golf title for the PS3, Hot Shots Golf 5 (known in Japan as Minna no Golf 5) is slated for a U.S. release in March 2008. Here’s a brief rundown of what the game will offer gamers once it hits.
The game brings with it new features such as the New Shot System, online tournaments, extensive stat tracking, new playable characters and caddies, and new, larger courses.
The New Shot system lets players focus all their attention on their actual swing, and not the power meter. Many factors will come into play in judging their swing, such as distance and weather.
In addition to the new gameplay elements, Hot Shots Golf 5 will also let players hold online tournaments with 50 other players, as well as hold a match where up to eight players can participate. Aside from online tournaments, players can also track their stats online, in terms of best average score, driving distance, driving accuracy, numbers of holes-in-one, and many other factors.
