At the moment, Ready at Dawn studios is working on maxing out the capabilities of God of War: Chains of Olympus for the Sony PSP. But while Kratos readies for his next journey of blood, guts, and glory on the handheld, it appears that the developers are gearing up for bigger fish.
As director Ru Weerasuriya stated to 1Up:
We’ve had thoughts of it, but at the same time we’ve got multiple options out there and many things have entered our minds as far as what we want to do. This team is ready to move onto something pretty big, and we’ve been planning it for quite a while, and this team needs to show what they’re capable of doing on next-gen or current-gen, which ever word you want to call it.
Aside from Chains of Olympus, the studio’s also allocating resources to develop the Wii port of Capcom’s Okami, originally from the PlayStation 2. Ready at Dawn setting its sight on something bigger than these two titles? No other details were provided regarding the studio’s big move, but certainly let you know if any updates are announced in the near future.
