Harmonix says final Rock Band release date for Canada is December 20

Tired of hearing about the various delays that have plagued Harmonix‘s Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360) shipments? This will hopefully be the last time you’ll have to wait as Harmonix has officially confirmed that Rock Band will be released in Canada on December 20, 2007.

Tired of hearing about the various delays that have plagued Harmonix‘s Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360) shipments? This will hopefully be the last time you’ll have to wait as Harmonix has officially confirmed that Rock Band will be released in Canada on December 20, 2007.

According to Harmonix, the December 20 Canada release date is the final Rock Band release date, and the date will apply to both Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 versions of Rock Band. Harmonix has yet to confirm the announcement for the Sony PS2 version of the game, though.

After a trial of patience, it appears that Canadian players will finally get to enjoy their long-awaited jamming sessions. Still, perhaps Harmonix and Rock Band distributors should look into having an armed escort along with the shipment, just in case.
