Unreal Tournament III platform differences: PS3 version vs. PC version
For the more finicky FPS players, you may have already noticed some of the differences between the two platforms on which Midway Games and Epic Games‘ Unreal Tournament III (PC, Xbox 360, PS3). In particular, Mark Rein already announced that the PS3 version will run a little slower than its PC counterpart.

For the more finicky FPS players, you may have already noticed some of the differences between the two platforms on which Midway Games and Epic Games‘ Unreal Tournament III (PC, Xbox 360, PS3). In particular, Mark Rein already announced that the PS3 version will run a little slower than its PC counterpart.
To be specific the PS3 version is around 30 percent slower compared to the PC release. However, it’s not really that big a deterrent when playing the game as revealed in a video with the two versions running side by side.
While the PC UT3 scores points for its more polished look at 60 frames per second, the PS3 UT3 runs at a more steady pace with its slower frame rate speed (30 frames per second).
