With new features and improvements, such as Voice Changer, DivX and WMV support, and Blu-ray Disc Profile v1.1 integration, this is definitely not one to let slip by.

Good news, Sony PlayStation 3 owners! The highly-anticipated firmware for your Cell Processor-powered consoles of next-gen awesome has finally gone live, and is now available for download.
For those of us new to this firmware-related malarkey (or if you haven’t been keeping up with the news much), then you’ll be glad to know that PS3 firmware 2.10 sports a Voice Changer feature that lets you change the tone of a voice that’s fed from an input audio device, like a microphone. And yes, it does let you mess with your voice on the fly, even while using voice or video chat.
Audio and video playback have also been improved with this new release, and you would do well to check out the complete changelog in the previous article. The update gives your PS3 support for DivX and VC-1 (WMV) formats. FW 2.10 also bumps up your Blu-ray status to Profile v1.1, which will eventually pave the way for web-enabled Blu-ray content.
