Manhunt 2: BBFC to judicially review VAC decision
It looks like the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) got its way, at least for the moment. The board is sending out word that it has been granted permission to judicially review the Video Appeals Committee’s overturning of their refusal to rate Manhunt 2 (Wii, PSP, PS2). More details regarding this legal battle are available in the full article.
It looks like the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) got its way, at least for the moment. The board is sending out word that it has been granted permission to judicially review the Video Appeals Committee’s overturning of their refusal to rate Manhunt 2 (Wii, PSP, PS2).
This news comes in as the most recent event following the court battle that began when Rockstar Games approached the VAC last month to appeal the BBFC’s decision not to rate the game. And while the BBFC appeared to have conceded, this latest turn of events indicates that the group is preparing to bring the case to High Court.
The BBFC states that the Manhunt 2 case will be heard by next year. Drop by again in case the board makes any further announcements.
