11-year old boy uses Nintendo Wii as charity incentive
Want to get more people involved in helping the needy? Why not put up a hard-to-find Nintendo Wii as an incentive for people to help out?
That’s exactly what 11-year old Tyler Strasser did, allowing people who donated toys to his toy drive to compete in a Wii Bowling competition for the chance to win a Wii.
More on the toy drive after the jump!
According to the report from News 14 in Carolina, Strasser hosted a toy drive this weekend, and folks who participated in the drive got a raffle ticket that gave them a chance to join a Wii bowling competition.
The winner of the said competition would take home the WIi unit. Strasser seemed very happy with his decision to put up a Wii for the toy drive, saying, “It just makes you really feel good that youÂ’re helping other people, and I know that it is my job from God”.
While the report didn’t announce the name of the winner of the competition or the beneficiary of the toy drive, you can certainly bet some people are going to be a bit happier this Christmas as a result of this initiative.
