In this new Ninja Gaiden 2 video, watch Ryu Hayabusa as he slices and dices his opponents effortlessly into bite-sized, chewable pieces. When Team Ninja leader Tomonobu Itagaki said that they’re creating Ninja Gaiden 2 with the intention of making it an M-rated game, it turns out that’s he’s quite serious after all, and the latest Ninja Gaiden 2 video shows you how.

In this video, you can see Ryu Hayabusa cut and shred his opponents into bloody pieces as he climbs his way uphill. Ninja Gaiden 2 is truly chock-full of gratuitous violence, with decapitated heads and severed limbs flying all over the place as Ryu runs through throngs of opponents with ridiculously long fist claws. But the game does look sweet, and we can’t wait to get our hands on a demo.
