There have been a lot of custom side-scroller games based on Mario, but this one amused us so much that we just had to share. Appropriately named The Hardest Mario Game Ever, the video you’ll find below is made of a good chunk of frustrating Mario-style gameplay.

Aside from near impossible hazards to go through, it’s difficult not to have a laugh at the enemy monster which takes the flag pole that Italian plumbers love to hang onto before entering the castle in victory.
