Nintendo Gives Metroid Prime: Hunters a Voice
Nintendo announced it was adding voice chat to the sci-fi action game Metroid Prime: Hunters. Players joining the multiplayer battles over Nintendo’s wireless Internet service will be able to dish out wrestling mania trash talk to each using the system’s built-in microphone before and after games (but not during).
In Hunters, bounty hunter Samus Aran rummages through the Alimbic Cluster of planets for a hidden “ultimate power.” The key to the power source involves finding artifacts called octoliths scattered across the planets and space stations. Keeping her company are other bounty hunters and attempt to steal SamuÂ’s hard-earned octoliths. Okay, maybe not all conversations will be unpleasant. Nah! It’s gonna be trash chat all the way!
